A little bit about myself

I'm B.Tech graduate from Netaji Subhash Engineer College, Kolkata in Information Technology. I have 1 year and 3 months of experience in Software Testing.

During my previous employment with Amdocs Development Center LLP, Pune, I have worked with various technologies and frameworks which includes - Amdocs by Ginger tool used for Automating my web based tasks, some manual hands on experience with Test Development Platforms(TDP), Splunk UI and defect management tools like Jira.

I also have knowledge of Webservices application ( SOUP UI), XML. Few of the languages and tools I had also worked on are Unix, Putty, Python, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, Oracle Database. In previous last five months during my unemployment days after leaving my previous Organization in August 2020, I have learned some tech stack for Web-Development like HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. And I have also taken various certification course on LinkedIn and other learning platforms which you can find in the Certification tab next to Experience.

Distpano: Smart India Hackathon Protoype Phase

Brief : Built for a problem statement by the Indian Space Reasearch Organization, DistPano was a distributed computing system for performing image stitching on high resolution geo images using public compute nodes. Images clicked using drones, provided by ISRO were stitched together using distributed public compute nodes, effectively bringing down processing time exponentially.

• Developed an algorithm to solve the problem of splitting and stitching images to create panorama.

• These developed algorithms have minimized and optimized working solutions for splitting and stitching images.

• Used several tools and methodology to create this application.


Tech Stack :PHP, C++,REST API Java, JavaScript, Python, OpenCV, MySQL.

Terroristic Chat Detector: Final Year Graduation Project

Brief : A chat detector prototype we have developed as a final year project which is used to detect any misleading information transferred or discussed over social media platforms. This was just a prototype we have developed for inbuilding this over media platforms to get aware about any misleading behaviors.

• This is the prototype developed in the final year to track suspicious chats over social media platforms.

• Developed this prototype for inbuilding this over media platforms to get aware about any misleading behaviors.

• It is only a Prototype for now, and can be implemented on several online social platforms like - WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram etc.

Editor.js: Up Skilling Myself

Brief :This is a personal code editor developed for myself to write and execute JavaScript code on any localhost.

• This is developed for learning purpose for improving my JS Skills.

• Users can be able to write, compile and run their JavaScript code and can also be able to see the output.

• It supports only JavaScript for now, I am working on this for other languages as well.

Digit Recognition: Industrial training project

Brief : A Machine Learning project built for improving my own ML skills.

• This is developed for learning purpose for improving my Python and ML Skills.

• Users can enter any number and the output of the code after recognising the digit will be same as entered by the Users.

• It is completely written in Python and uses Linear Regression for training the dataset.

Organizational Work Experience

Amdocs Development Centre India, LLP (from June 24, 2019 to Aug 18, 2020)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Deciding the Scenarios with constant interaction with Clients.

• Developing test cases based on scenarios.

• Running and reporting the bugs for Application design enhancement

• Constantly taking reviews of the reports with clients


Projects :

1. AT&T Sales and Telecommunication June 2019 - September 2019

• Execution of scenarios and performed regression, sanity, progression etc.

• Performed testing for the E-commerce AT&T website in this project.

• Worked with the automation team to learn automation and have attended few client meetings over triage calls.


2. Digital Commerce Manager (DCM) September 2019 - January 2020

• Designed and developed test cases with constant interaction with clients.

• Executed scenarios including regression, sanity, progression etc.

• Performed hands-on in manual and automation in this project, only tester in team for everything related to testing the software.


3. Telegence Customer Service Management (CSM) February 2020 - June 2020

• Performed Regression testing for the earlier releases.

• Performed both manual and automation in this project. Also given training to newly joined team members.

• Assigned to Splunk UI for my upcoming project along with the current one. Two at a time


4. Splunk UI for online Monitoring of CSM June 2020 - August 2020

• Designed and developed test cases with constant interaction with clients.

• Executed scenarios including regression, sanity, progression etc.

• Performed hands-on in manual and automation in this project. Only tester in team for everything related to testing the software

Volunteering Experience

President Of Phoenix - The Official Tech Club of NSEC (from Feb, 2017 - Nov, 2018)

Brief : I was selected as the 11th President of NSEC to run the Technical Club of college, and the objective of the Club is to provide students a place to grow their inter-personal skills and technical knowledge through the weekly organised Technical Forums.


Roles and Responsibilities :

• Organized 12 technical forums including web-development, Python, MATLAB, Robotics etc. Strength 300+ students.


• Organized 3 technical events, 2 Quiz events with over participation strength of 1600+ Students from Various Colleges.


• Managed a budget of INR 3.2 lakhs allocated for Tech Events, and Improvement of Tech Club facilities for students


• My role also covered to conduct organise a person for conducting weekly forums for the students so that they can learn about new technologies.
